We would never think of an unheard Beatles record, they split decades ago, many releases since then with demos, mono, stereo recordings etc.
I thought that “Free as a bird” back in 1995 would be their last “new” record. But Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr had a gem hidden.
Of course with the help of artificial intelligence and what it does to separate audio tracks , this is their new and last single “Now and Then”.
John’s voice is taken from a cassette recording and I bet Yoko or his sons have lots of those tapes somewhere! But, as described in that mini documentary ‘making of’ all four Beatles are on the record, even George’s guitar, recorded in the 90s when they started experimenting with those vocals.
First watch the documentary, then listen to the last “new” Beatles song.
Here’s “Now and Then”
