Idra Kayne has her second album set for release in Autumn 2015. But till then, she drops her new single ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ just before Summer arrives. This tune definitely sets the standards higher for the Greek artists . It’s got the groove, it has the soul and funk that comes from Idra’s voice and in production it will probably remind you of the Nile Rodgers era with a Daft Punk feel in it. It takes me back to the english acid jazz scene at early 90s , where Brand New Heavies, Incognito and many other acts made a real impact to music. ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ is an uplifting tune, sounds fresh, cool , ready to enter the summer playlists.
