There are so many releases on the first 3 months of 2026! Too many for the mainstream audience to follow up. And with all the viral hits, with all the classic viral hits (resurfacing again after so many years because of the algorithm) it seems too hard to follow. But it’s not, on second thought. I’ve listened to lots of new releases since the beggining of 2026 and below you can find some great music to listen to. I’ve picked some of my favorites (that I listen on repeat) and some that will definitely be some to remember from this year. Don’t forget to enjoy the music loud!

While we were still saying Happy New Year, Bruno Mars came with a bang! “I Just Might” was one of the first No.1 singles that got released in 2026 (that happy sound may define the whole year) and later he delivered a great inspired album called “The Romantic”. My choice? “Risk It All”, a love ballad for all those out there who really want to fall in love again (or are already deep in it).

Jill Scott released her new album in 10 years “To Whom It May Concern” and those soul RnB vibes sound like she was never away from discography. So glad to have this release on repeat the whole year through. Her single “Pressha” is on point for all the beauty standards on social media, that start feeling so gross lately! Stop filling your lips, face and body with substances, it will get you nowhere. Stop the pressure!

Gorillaz released “The Mountain” and everything seemed normal again in music. What a great album to listen to! And what a video to accompany the album! Everything feels natural again. Have a listen but most of all watch this short animated film.

Does Raye have one of the greatest albums of 2026? I know it’s still early in the year but… c’mon! That is an 100% effort in music and the sound, the feeling, the voice, the lyrics, everything is at the maximum. Isn’t that what music is all about? To give you chills? Isn’t that what an artist should be about? To be 100% present at the moment and give the best performance? On “Click Clack Symphony” take a bow for Hans Zimmer.

Can harmony and Pop music be put together? If Charlie Puth is in charge everything is possible. I like the way he plays the professor on Tik Tok. He released his new album “Whatever’s Clever” and it feels like Pop is the genre of 2026.

Hip Hop is not at the height of its’ success at this point. But Baby Keem put out his album Ca$ino which is really good and moreover he delivers another feature from Kendrick Lamar , the g.o.a.t. So, I got this new single on repeat and it sounds sooooo sweet! Like Hip Hop is reinventing itself.

Ok! Hands UP! Jungle make their return with “Carry On” . This classic sound of theirs that we all love. This style that you can’t get enough of listening to. And I’m sure that their new tour is going to sell out too fast!

Thundercat is releasing his new album with too many features on it. One of the greatest players of the last decade promoted this with a collaboration with the late Mac Miller. And “She Knows Too Much” sounds as fresh as ever! Can’t wait to listen to his new release. Till then, I got that on repeat.

“Superbloom”, the new album by Jessie Ware gets released in two weeks from now. But she has already given us three tracks out of it and you know what? Jessie is THE voice. She’s got that feeling while singing that you want her to be your girlfriend for ever and ever (mother of four, I know, but… lucky husband!). On “Ride” she is too sexy and as for the video, she delivers this hot tune as expected. And it’s all in film.

That Robyn comeback was so unexpected! “Sexistential” is her latest release and it’s so electronic, while so Pop, while so sexy, while everything we know that Robyn is about. I think it’s her best work, not because she is mature, but you can truly listen to the freedom she delivers on each track. My favorite of the album is the titled one “Sexistential”. I want to dance to it in a dark room somewhere.

One of my favorite electronic acts are Disclosure. Their sound is their own. No imitations. Since day 1, Disclosure have made some great collaborations, delivered great albums, EPs or singles. And what I love about their latest release is that the brothers are again in charge of the microphone. They don’t need anyone else to do it for them. They play, they sing, they make electronic music sound like a piece of cake and I know by first hand, it’s no simple at all. It’s as complex as one might think, but when it’s done their way, it sounds so smooth! Tremendous to have a new one by Discosure.

On the first week of 2026, SAULT decided to deliver their latest album “Chapter 1”. And If you’re still not aware who Sault are, you’d better listen to all their previous releases. InFlo & Cleo Sol are a couple and whenever they get in the studio the result feels “out of this world”. The lyrics, the music, the feelings… It’s all too much! What I love most about SAULT is that they keep their anonymity all those years behind this secret band tribe and believe me, it is a tribe. Whoever gets in it, understands fully the spiritual journey they’re taking us. The whole “Chapter 1” is awesome but if you want to listen to a song, here’s a great choice. Sault took home the Brit Award for Best RnB act this year, though I’m not sure if this is exactly RnB. It is so much more!

James Blake needs no introduction and his new album “Trying Times” just got released. So personal, so light as a feather and with the production that only James Blake delivers so good! Love the title track.
