The Shires are a New-Country Duo from the UK signed to Decca record label.Their story is of great interest as they formed after Ben (from Hertfordshire) appealed on Facebook for a female country singer to work with him. Crissie (from Bedfordshire), a friend of a friend, replied, came round the very next day and they discovered an instant chemistry. Their album ‘Brave’ got released in March, but this great ballad started hitting the airwaves the last month and it seems that we’re rediscovering country music again, if we’re about to listen to such lovely lyrics and watch performances like this.
