Michael Kiwanuka makes his comeback with ‘Love & Hate’. Soul music at its best!

Michael Samuel Kiwanuka is a British Soul musician who’s ready to release his second album  “Love & Hate” on the 27th May through Polydor Records. He unveiled the video of his second single some days ago  and i must say that i hit the repeat button at least 4 times. It’s an 8 minute tune, full of soul music, deep lyrics, some great solos  and probably one of the best we’ve heard so far for 2016.

Filmed live at RAK Studios in London, the Love & Hate session recording was filmed by director Huse Monfaradi, better known for directing the Arctic Monkeys’ broadly acclaimed ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ and Brianstorm videos, and a similarly raw live session filming of Paolo Nutini.

The Love & Hate LP was produced in collaboration with the Grammy Award winning Danger Mouse in LA.  It is a record that throws a fascinatingly assured new light on the uncompromised talent of Michael Kiwanuka, arguably one of Britain’s best and inventive young singer-songwriters.
