The Avalanches make their comeback after 16 years with ‘Frankie Sinatra’ and they got the #TuneOfTheWeek

It’s been 16 years since The Avalanches released an album. Unfortunately the solo projects and collaborations among the years, didn’t leave time for the group to reform and deliver a proper release. Till now… ‘Wildflower’ is the second studio album from the Australian producers, that we’ve all been waiting for and is expected to be released on July 8th.

‘Frankie Sinatra’ is their new material and the first release from the album. It features guest appearances from American rappers Danny Brown and MF Doom. The song is described as a mixture of electro swing, carribean music and a type of Afro-Caribbean music. It also features a sample of the song “Bobby Sox Idol” by calypso artist Wilmoth Houdini. Listen to our great tune of the week and watch the video. Interesting mixture of party goers!
