I’ve seen lots and lots of music documentaries in my life about producers, singers, lyricists, charts, non-charts, clubbing scene etc. But this year it seems that this music documentary which is all about the life stories of Dr.Dre & Jimmy Iovine, is one of the best. It takes you back and forth between the lives of two of the biggest names in the music industry. Definitely there are pieces missing… but that’s the story out of the script.
Dr.Dre defined the whole rap & hip-hop music scene since the beggining with N.W.A. till now with Kendrick Lamar, being the hottest name in the business.
Jimmy Iovine starting as a sound engineer from John Lennon to Interscope to Apple Music , transformed himself to the greatest salesman.
Those two gentlemen have lots in common and what is more interesting is that you’ll see pictures and videos from the 70s till now and listen to stories that you haven’t even imagined. Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith, Tom Petty, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendick Lamar, Bono, The Doc and many many others that those two got involved with and changed the music industry within the decades, with their dream.
