The tune of the week could easily be the soundtrack of a hot summer night! The Knocks , American electronic music duo consisting of Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt”, are back with a new album named New York Narcotic. The music blend is the same we loved from previous releases, which contains funk, soul, phat beats, great groove rhythmic session. That combined with the great collaborators they have on their records, the outcome is massive.
(listen to the audio of “Brazilian Soul” here, as u continue reading…)
This tune has Sofi Tukker as featured artist, the NY duo, who are on fire the last years (since their “Drinkee” release).
So , “Brazilian Soul” is exactly what is says on the lyrics: ‘In the heat of December
Oh, Brazil is where I go… When we let our hearts grow close…’
It could be released through summer, with those aerial vocals, this funky bass and those great loops playing. It’s more of a chill song, that puts you in the mood from the first listen. This is my choice for Tune Of The Week.
